Only negative was that the loo on board didn’t flush so urine and tissue was piled high as the flush didn’t work so you can imagine how it looked after 5 hours. The journey itself was relaxed and without drama. A man on his motorbike came off on the motorway and if Les hadn’t been driving so carefully we would of gone over the biker. Because of his safe distance driving an accident in front of us wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been. *504 Newquay to Reading- Thank God our driver Les was super safe and so vigilant. I’m writing this review in respect to my latest journey. I’ve travelled so many times using National Express. Other than the wrong bus stop location, we couldn't fault the Hoppa bus and would do it again. Next morning the Hoppa bus was scheduled to leave every “¼ to” and “¼ past” the hour from the Hilton and it arrived right on time at 5.13am. It took us 8 minutes to get to the Hilton and the bus driver kindly helped us unload the suitcases as well which was wonderful. Coincidentally the Hoppa Bus was already at Bus Stop 16 when we got there and the friendly bus driver put our luggage onto the bus and gave us a whole heap of information about the return journey for the next day as we bought a return ticket (GBP£9 each – and only cash was acceptable which I had discovered in my research months prior). Walking there I double-checked with another transport person and she said it was Bus Stop 16 also, so was confident we were heading in the right direction. Waited awhile and when another bus turned up I asked the bus diver if it was the Hoppa Bus and he directed me to a different area and to Bus Stop 16. Arrived at London Heathrow airport around lunchtime and headed for Bus Stop 22/23 (which my research had instructed) and waited for the Hoppa Bus which would take us directly to the Hilton Hotel at London Heathrow Airport T5.
